Making votes count.

What happens if the party you most want to vote for has only fielded one candidate in your ward. Do you use your remaining two votes for the candiates you consider have a second or third place in your consideration.

Bad mistake, as in a first past the post election, these votes will count against the candidate you want to win because that is the platform you most support. It is better to just vote for that candidate and withold your remaining vote from other candidates if their paltforms do not meet with your approval.

Sadly, first past the post is often about voting out what you do not wish rather than making a positive choice.
